What is XEOVO?

Xeovo is a self-funded VPN company based in Finland since 2016. As a team we thrive for privacy, security, and freedom. We enjoy what we do, understand our customers and deliver a VPN that clients love and need.

Originally Xeovo used to be hosting company, but we transformed it into VPN company since most of our clients used our services to deploy VPN. Our research and decision were right and we are back in the game.

We want to prevent greedy ISP companies selling your personal data to 3rd companies, lift off all restrictions and give keys to your privacy.

One of the Finnish ISP sold customers data to a 3rd company for marketing purpose in 2015. This company was copyright troll and asked for specific logs which included movies and series torrent files.

Later copyright trolls have sent out thousands of settlement letters to alleged customers, each demanding payments of between 600 and 3,000 euros. HH estimated what around 60 000 customers received cash demands from copyright trolls.

Since we are from Finland we started to follow what’s going to happen.

One of 60 000 customers were a guy who downloaded TV-series & movie via BitTorrent. We will call this guy Flint because he started a thread on one of the Finnish forums regarding this case and gained over 14 000 00 views with 35 000 replies.

For almost two years Feint was fighting in court with copyrights troll but sadly lost the case in court.

Despite operating an open Wi-Fi network, Flint has been ordered to pay more than 32,000 euros in damages and costs for sharing ten episodes of the TV show and a movie.

Flint could simply avoid all these issues by using VPN and encrypting his internet activity. Therefore, we want to prevent ISP companies selling your data and protect you.
